My 2015 Fall Mini's have finally come to a close and all my wonderful clients have received their online galleries for viewing. I must say that I am pretty proud of how they turned out and have noticed a big improvement in my photography from just a few months back! I did have some pretty amazing families to work with too, so I'm sure that's the reason *wink*. I am now getting geared up to start my Holiday Mini Sessions. It's crazy how fast 2015 has flown by. Do you and your family have any special holiday traditions you do every year?
I'll tell you a little bit about our family traditions. We take our girls to have their picture taken with Santa. We head downtown to watch the night time Santa Claus Parade. We stroll through Victoria Park for the Lighting of the Lights. We bake Christmas sugar cookies and the girls help me ice and decorate them. Sometimes we make gingerbread men and other times we have decorated a ginger bread house.
Every year on Christmas Eve we give our daughter's a special Christmas Eve Box. Inside it is a pair of new pajamas for each of them, a movie to watch that night, popcorn and hot chocolate to snack on during the movie. When the movie is finished, we read The Night Before Christmas, put out some milk and cookies for Santa and then put the girls to bed.
Christmas Day is spent with extended family for a big family dinner and then Boxing Day is spent relaxing and watching our girls enjoy their gifts.
I'd love to hear some of your traditions!! Tell me about them, maybe I can pick up a few more fun things for my family :)
