I haven't updated in awhile, so I figured now was as good a time as any. When you're a mom to two young children things get pretty hectic and it's easy to become scatterbrained so to speak. At least I do. I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this here or not, but I also do home daycare out of my home from Monday to Friday. Photography is something I do on the weekends and on the side as a hobby. I am hoping that one day I can open up my own photography studio.
Anyways. Mornings around here are complete CHAOS! I'm sure some of you can relate. If not, I envy you!! *LOL* I have parents coming to drop off their children every so often, I'm trying to get my oldest daughter ready for school, breakfast for both of my children, help my youngest get dressed and try to manage to make myself look presentable. Sometimes while I'm at the door talking to some of the parents my own children are nagging me in the background for things they need, or stuff they need my help with. I feel like I'm being pulled in a million different directions.
Once my own children are taken care of and off to school, I find myself breathing a sigh of relief. My daycare children are FANTASTIC! They listen to me all the time - with the rare occurrence of a time out. It's great!! The time I feel the MOST alive and calm is when I have my camera in my hand. I take tons of pictures of the kids during the day while they are exploring and playing. I absolutely LOVE capturing children on camera. The parents love getting photos of their children at daycare as well, that way they can see what their child has been up to during the day.
On a final note, I would love to share a few images I did recently of a sweet little girl just 7 days old at the time of the session. She fought sleep the whole session, but I still captured the innocence and sweetness of her beautiful little face.
